This build is very excellent for PvP and also has quite a few defense buffs in order to ensure better combat in PvP. PvE wise AoE is a high advantage in PvP/PvE and it performs a better DPS rate and stun rate.

| Your build is pretty close to mines except I have a few skills lvl'd and added just cuz I was going PvE direction before deciding PvP. I just need a reset scroll to fix up the little things.
I'm glad you posted this because I was planning to ask you about your pally build today when I got back on in the evening. Thanks for sharing the info Hero.
My other question I was going to ask was:
"What is a better 2nd adv. class for PvP? Guardian or Crusader?"

| Yes this is focused on M-Damage Phys for kicks.
I usually go for higher phys damage than my Magic Damage since I'm leveling up my Magic Attacks more than my Physical Attacks.
And TBH I'm not completely sure of which class is better, I've heard both good and bad point of views of both classes (Guardian/Crusader).
Guardian Advantage (PvP) - They have a very very high defense rate, so they're extremely annoying to try and take out in PvP. 1v1 one of these guys and expect a loong fight.
Crusader Advantage (PvP) - High DPS rate, and if you're going hybrid, Pallys have a def buff in which increases your def by 200 or.. 300%? It's about 15 seconds which is basically an invincibilty buff for you to charge and do whatever you'd like. Only problem is that in 1v1, all your skills require a cooldown at the beginning of the match, so you'll have to wait a while until you can use that buff.
PvP - Kicks are very useful AoE - Lightning/Stun attacks are extremely useful for PvP.
You get an excellent PvP skill called [Electric Smite] at level 32, which is basically the lead starting point for doing 1v1 against any class.
Important TIP:
If you're going for Skill Plates.. !! ALWAYS GO FOR COOLDOWN RATE NOT DAMAGE RATE !! _________________ |

| Ok thanks for the breakdown. I was watching one of Impression's PvP videos against a Merc or Swordsman. I did catch that Smite was one used a lot and also Shin Breaker.
What crests should we focus on if we are going for hybrid phys. pally into pvp? |

| Ya mines very similar, but i lowered my righteous bolt for the health boosts/mana boost and reduce phys dmg |

| Crests I'd recommend:
Armour Break (30% Duration Debuff) Holy Kick (Animation 50% Decrease)
Electric Smite [Not Available]
To be continued.. _________________ |

| In the beginning of a PvP duel all your skills undergo a "Cool Down Rate" before you're actually able to use them.
Also when you're performing combos, you want the cooldown rates to go down as quick as possible in order to continue an infinite combo. _________________ |

| Oh i didn't know about that part. Seems interesting. So what craftables do we aim for? Vit? lucky? what do you prefer. Mines is (since pvp powders not out)
Head - Int Chest - Sturdy Pants - Sturdy Gloves - Adorned or sturdy, i forgot lol Boots - Windswept Wep - Brutal Shield - Sturdy
And just to make sure, Does hidden abilities apply to pvp? And having Holy kick is better than the 50% roundhouse? (if you had to choose between the two) |

| It's entirely up to you, these crafting abilities weren't in the CN Vers. so I dont' have much experience with them. But I'd recommend Windswept for crit res.
Also HA I believe does count in PvP _________________ |

| Yea, I put windswept on my boots and it gave me a 1% movement speed Also, I was trying to mix and to have most of the abilities, so I am more well rounded, but more in sturdy/adorned because its overall Mdmg, phys dmg Yikes, need to get good HA then lol Can't post my build till next week lol New members are not allowed to post external links or emails for 7 days. Please contact the forum administrator for more information. There is a huge talk about paladins in one thread on the DN forums [GUIDE] Paladins : The Ultimate Tanker (Re-Vamped) That's the title, if anyone wants to check it out during downtimes |

| A question on Divine Combo: Why not level it rather than paralyzing bolt? It's got high damage, scales with your higher Physical Attack, and is much harder to interrupt. This should apply in PvE if anything, but I also feel that in PvP it will be very useful in keeping a combo going.
Also, I'm sorry for not being able to show up at all this week outside of my friend playing for me; I'll be in Seattle until Monday morning :/ |

I think DC is used a lot more in PvP than PB. PB is more for a set up or negation of another opponents skill. I could be wrong but that's what I picked up from PvP videos. PB wasn't much of a used skill so yeah. |

| Divine Combo is a waste of SP unless you max it, even if you max it, CD rate is the same, and damage gets altered a little bit. At level 40, it does some nice damage, but there are better skills to max out instead of DC. Your main focus should be your paladin skills for damage, not cleric skills. _________________ |
